Sosi Creative Marketing Management, trading as SOSI Agency (“SOSI”, “we”, “us”), is a creative agency based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This policy explains what personal data we collect through sosiagency.com (the “Site”), why we collect it, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, contact us at admin@sosiagency.com.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Sosi Creative Marketing Management (trading as SOSI Agency), Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is the controller of personal data collected through the Site. Contact: admin@sosiagency.com.
2. What we collect
- Enquiry form: your name, brand or company, email address and the project details you choose to share.
- Newsletter sign-up: your email address.
- Emails you send us: the content of your message and your contact details.
- Usage data: basic, aggregated information about how the Site is used (for example pages viewed, referring site, browser and device type, and approximate location derived from your IP address), collected through Jetpack Stats and our hosting provider’s performance monitoring.
We do not knowingly collect special category data, and we ask that you do not include it in your enquiry.
3. How and why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss, quote for and deliver our services (steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and performance of a contract).
- To send you SOSI news and updates if you subscribed (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
- To run, secure and improve the Site and understand how it is used (our legitimate interests).
- To meet legal, accounting or regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
4. Who we share it with
We only share personal data with service providers who help us run the Site and our business, and only as far as needed:
- GoDaddy (website hosting and performance monitoring).
- Automattic / WordPress.com (Jetpack security and Site statistics).
- Google Workspace (business email, where enquiry notifications and correspondence are received).
- jsDelivr (delivery of Site scripts; your browser connects to it to load animation code).
- Instagram (Meta) (display of our Instagram posts and links to our profile).
We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights.
5. International transfers
Some of these providers process data outside the UAE, including in the United States and the European Union. Where this happens we rely on the providers’ contractual and security safeguards to protect your data.
6. How long we keep it
- Enquiries and related correspondence: up to 3 years after our last contact, unless they lead to a client relationship, in which case we keep records for as long as needed for that relationship and our legal obligations.
- Newsletter details: until you unsubscribe.
- Usage statistics: in aggregated form, according to our providers’ retention periods.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, including the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and, where it applies to you, the EU/UK GDPR, you may ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, email admin@sosiagency.com. We will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to the relevant data protection authority.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and restricted access to our systems. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
